那块钢板重两吨：

That steel plate weighs two tons. 

That steel plate is two tons in weight.

The weight of that steel plate is two tons.

The bridge is 200 meteres long (或in length).

这座桥有200米长。

This river is one li wide (或in width).

这条河有1里宽。

The dam is 50 meters high (或 in height ). （或：The dam has an altitude of 50 meters.）

坝高50米。

He stands six foot （或 feet）three inches.

他身高6英尺3英寸。

He is six foot（或feet ）three.

他身高6英尺3英寸。

The heavy snow fell to a depth of two chi. （或：The heavy snow was two chi deep. ）

这场大雪下了2尺厚。

The cypress in our back garden is two feet thick（或：in diameter）, six feet round（或：in circumference） and fifteen feet high（或：in height）.
